When I powered off my PC and the screen went dark immediately, I noticed a delay of about ten seconds before the shutdown completed. I’m curious if this indicates an issue. Thanks!

Have you attempted to turn off the fast boot feature in Windows 10 along with other programs such as multimedia tools or intensive coding tasks? Is your HDD functioning properly, or could it be aging, experiencing issues, or running out of space?

I haven't attempted to turn off fast boot in Windows 10 because I wasn't aware of it. I use programs such as AutoCAD and Adobe software. The operating system runs on an SSD, my HDD is brand new with over 700 GB available space. I've also observed that the startup speed has slightly decreased compared to before.

The setup with a 2700X/X470 base also requires some time to fully power down after closing windows and turning off the monitor. It shouldn’t cause any major concerns.

With heavy process applications installed, closing them can be slow. Turn off uninstalling unused windows features and apps from the app menu.

I'm going to turn it off to rearrange the power connectors. I'll send a video so you can check for any similarities.
