I have the necessary licenses, but my main concern is whether anyone has verified it isn’t just a fake tool that doesn’t function properly. Did it actually perform as expected, or could I have wasted my investment? (Yes, there are real alternatives available.)

Cleaner doesn't make much sense, other options seem like fake promises.

I tried it for a brief period. Occasionally it helps check CPU and RAM usage, but most of the time it doesn't work well.

It's one of those free programs that checks your system and then shows a bunch of problems, making people really nervous about their computer failing if they don’t pay the high price of $59.99 for a service they’ve never heard of.

Most folks claim it's just because it employs the always-on-sale method, but CCleaner does the same without being overly aggressive. I've been using it for a few years now as Pro and several times before that as free. It pairs well with CCleaner overall. I can't tell which one performs better since both catch things others miss. It's been this way with CCleaner long before I started using ASC (Spybot S&D was the predecessor). Their Smart Defrag seems significantly superior to Defraggler, being much quicker in most cases.
