You're curious about whether your BIOS can support the CPU on the 5600X and 50 series board you purchased. Since the system boots without issues, it suggests compatibility. Also, since you don't have a GPU or display yet, you're right to focus on the CPU support first.

Your BIOS doesn’t recognize the CPU, so it’s unlikely the chip will even fit in the motherboard. Have you verified the compatibility between the CPU and the motherboard?

The system would fail to display if the processor isn't recognized by the BIOS microcode.

Your calculated risk for purchasing a motherboard without a BIOS flashback worked out well.

Many boards come with Agesa 1.0.8.0, released prior to Zen 3 chips. No videos are available without dedicated graphics. The 5600X lacks iGpu support.

Some people manage to permanently disable their motherboards when upgrading CPUs. It seems the stability depends on the pre-installed OS version and whether it works for you. Many boards come with a fast flash feature, but some users report problems. It’s possible that certain boards have more BIOS-related issues than others.
