This doesn't seem logical. Manufacturers don't provide graphics drivers. Only AMD, Nvidia and Intel offer drivers for their cards, and they are now nearly universal (one driver for all cards in a certain category). There isn't a "factory driver." If you're referring to the initial driver for a specific card, it might be hard to locate, and these drivers are usually the worst since new versions always improve support as developers better understand the GPU after full release.

The Frame Rate Target setting was already turned off, and I couldn't locate any further information about smart power or similar topics.

I think I discovered a solution for my problem:
turning off HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) in AMD Adrenaline (Settings>Display>Overrides>HDCP Support)
this seems to have restored my monitor to normal operation, letting it display without the black screen. Power cycling appears to have stopped working.
I tried this with both HDCP on and off, but the issue resurfaces whenever I re-enable it and restart my PC.
Some people suggest this might affect streaming services like Netflix or Blu-Ray playback, while others are unsure of the impact.
