The system isn't recognizing the Corsair H100i GTX cooler.
My old H100i has been retired and I replaced it with a new H100i GTX. The 3pin is connected to CPU_OPT and the USB cable to F_USB2, which uses the SP120 pwm Quite edition fans that are plugged into the pump. I have installed and uninstalled the latest Corsair Link program, but the driver isn't working in Device Manager (Corsair Hydro Series 7289 USB Device). Anyone, can you help? Is this a faulty device or am I making a mistake?
Try a different USB port on the motherboard if available. Check the motherboard manual for specific locations. If you don’t have one, search for your board’s manual on Google and follow the instructions.
I discovered a method to handle unsigned drivers.
1.Reboot the machine.
2.While restarting, press 'F8'.
3.Choose Disable Driver Signature Enforcement from the boot options.
It functioned well in my situation. Yet why are there no signed drivers available for h100i gtx?
don't recall your H80i functioning well, but it seemed to work perfectly. Have you considered using the newest drivers with admin privileges and compatibility support features? It might have been a software problem or an installation issue related to the digital certificate signature?
Following the upgrade to Windows, the issues have been resolved. Appreciate your feedback, Arron.
