I recently improved my PC with the following components: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 3.8 GHz 6-core processor ($188.99 on Amazon), ASRock B650M Pro RS Micro ATX AM5 motherboard ($134.99 on Newegg), G.Skill Flare X5 32 GB DDR5-6000 memory ($104.99 on Amazon), Western Digital Black SN850X 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD ($91.92 on Amazon), MSI VENTUS XS OC GeForce GTX 1660 6 GB video card, Lian Li LANCOOL 205M MESH MicroATX tower case ($71.98 on Amazon), Corsair CX650M 650W power supply (80+ Bronze certified, $79.99 at Best Buy), and Microsoft Windows 11 Home OEM DVD 64-bit ($109.99 on Amazon). Overall cost comes to $782.85, including shipping and taxes. There is a BIOS update available; I’m currently running version 2.02 but have seen updates before. Sometimes I restart when reaching 6000MHz CL30, but it restarts intermittently when turned off. It’s happening randomly—should I apply the BIOS update or try another fix?

Updated the background information. RAM speed needs manual tuning; encountered similar problems with the 3200MHz profile, but adjusting it manually stabilized performance.

Updating the BIOS is likely a wise choice. Moving to versions 2.08 or 2.10 should provide stability.

I've got the update on the USB stick ready, just starting the process.

Additionally, random restarts when not using the PC might relate to Windows updates. Disabling this feature in Windows 11 isn't possible without third-party tools.
