The issue isn't resolved by the troubleshooter, and there aren't any working solutions yet.

Is there free space on the disk (over 50GB)? Have you restarted the PC before? Do you have a previous backup to revert to and try again from then? Updates can fail for many reasons—like OS corruption, which you might need to fix by reinstalling. It could also stem from a service failure or issues with the Windows update service itself. You can turn off or enable the Windows Update services via Services.msc. Clearing and repairing your software distribution folders might help. This process can lead to a complex troubleshooting path. Right Click Start > Run > CMD (as Administrator) sfc /scannow is the fastest way for Windows to check and repair system files.

It depends on the issue; leaving it alone might resolve itself, but reinstalling Windows 11 could help if the problem persists.

Restarting the windows should resolve the issue. The upcoming cumulative update might also provide a solution.

You can try the Windows installation for Windows 11 and let it finish naturally. Avoid forcing it or reinstalling unless necessary, as that could reset your keys.

Are you connecting to Windows via a Microsoft account? If yes, your hardware key is saved with Microsoft, so reinstalling would let you log in automatically using your key. You can still retrieve your unique Windows key from the current setup. Be sure to locate your office key if you have Office, unless it’s tied to Office 365 through your MS account. Or any other programs that store keys. For more details, see https://softwarekeep.com/blog/find-windo...roduct-key

I've been dealing with the same update (KB5028185) for months. Except for a full Windows reinstall, I've tried all possible fixes, but nothing works. HELP!

I understand your feelings. It seems like things are going a bit awkward.

The CPU activity keeps rising due to system interrupts from tasks. It’s unclear exactly what’s happening, but you might want to investigate the interrupt logs or adjust task priorities.

System interrupts might indicate resource competition. Possibly the disk is heavily utilized—antivirus, prolonged processes, or high CPU usage.
