I began with a Dell OptiPlex 9020 MT, but after purchasing a new case, I realized the motherboard wasn’t performing well. I replaced it with an ASRock H94 pro4, yet nothing functions when I switch the PSU or power on the PC—except the GPU indicator lights up. The system runs Windows 10 64-bit on an ASRock H94 pro4, using an i5 CPU, LGA12xx socket, and DDR3 4GB RAM from the original PC. My 500W PSU powers a GTX 1660 Ti Corsair 4000D case, but I don’t know the BIOS version since the machine won’t turn on. I have a USB drive with the latest BIOS updates, and I’ve tried clearing the CMOS.
I tested the device without the GPU and added extra RAM. It ran smoothly using a single RAM stick and no GPU. Also, confirmed the CPU is compatible with the board.
The specific CPU design is displayed on the heatspreader's CPU support section, while the motherboard's compatibility details can be found on its official support site: https://asrock.com/mb/intel/h97 pro4/
