I have consistently wished to inquire about something. The Windows license claims it cannot be taken apart, altered, etc., and this is considered a serious offense. First, no one will be sure if I disassembled it. Second, trying to grasp how the system functions is impossible without taking it apart. Third, given this situation, all guides on setting up Windows and its inner workings would be illegal, and the creators should face a 15-year prison sentence. Three years per article plus up to 15 years maximum. All forums claiming secret Windows information should be destroyed. These are the only forums of programmers worldwide. Generally, the entire Internet needs to be dismantled. Modification reveals that even if I purchased the system, changing anything would lead to imprisonment. I discussed this in Slavic forums, where people replied with “what nonsense?” or “No one meets these requirements.” But in those regions, most people don’t buy licenses. Terms: Disassemble – examine source code with a disassembler; Modify – alter the source code using the same tool. What are your thoughts?

You can achieve it by simply wanting to understand how it functions, without sharing or exposing it. Avoid creating an OS based on anything that replicates Windows' methods. Those discussions usually focus on registry tweaks or software fixes, which are more suited for end users. I question how long a web article with reverse engineering details would remain relevant—governments would likely take it down, and on the dark web it might exist, but only for a limited time.

Not referring to the dark web. I haven’t encountered any programming textbooks that explain how to alter or adjust Windows software. It often points to C++ or assembly language code showing the commands needed to tweak the application. These examples are typically shown for embedded systems—like a desktop or an explorer.exe file.

Some special books focus on breaking systems, creating malware, and these resources are widely available internationally without legal issues. https://www.amazon.com/Michael-Flenov/s?...ael+Flenov But I’m not referring to those kinds of materials. I’m asking about regular textbooks. What makes a license agreement necessary in this context?
