Hello Team, I’m reaching out for advice since I’m feeling quite stuck. I bought a PC during the pandemic, and building one from scratch was tough because it’s hard to get parts. The machine has been running perfectly so far. About a month back I began noticing stuttering—like when playing Forza 4 Horizons, it would load just fine for a few seconds before freezing briefly and then resuming. This pattern spread to other games and even affected Windows itself. I thought maybe wiping the drive and starting fresh would help. After a week, Windows 10 was reinstalled, but the problem continued from the start, even before any software was installed.

I’ve done some updates and upgraded drivers, added a high-speed NIC, and used a large SSD for storage. I’m still experiencing this issue despite everything. I did some patching and upgraded my graphics card drivers. I also bought a 10GbE NIC for my NAS setup. My specs are pretty solid: AMD Ryzen 5900X, RTX 3800, ASUS ROG Strix X570, and a bunch of RAM and SSDs. I use the PC for gaming and photography, with separate accounts for each. The gaming drive has Steam and all games on an external drive, while the photography drive connects to my NAS via Wi-Fi or direct IP.

I’ve been monitoring temperatures and usage stats, but everything looks normal. No overheating or memory issues. I’m not sure what changed recently. I’m considering turning off the NIC to test if it helps. I’ve attached screenshots and logs for reference. I’m planning to try recording sessions with OBS to see how the system behaves under load. If anyone has suggestions, I’d really appreciate it.
