I recently assembled my new PC and everything worked perfectly—no problems at all. However, when I accessed the BIOS to enable DOCP, it didn’t boot as smoothly anymore and automatically returned to the default 2333mhz setting. It might be an issue with the memory training. Try turning DOCP on again a few more times to check if the system maintains those settings. The 3600mt/s isn't functioning properly—it loops endlessly until it resets to the original 2133mt/s. Might be related to faulty RAM? I recently set up a similar build with a 5800x3D and ASUS TUF X570 Plus, including Corsair 3600MHz and Wi-Fi, and it handled DOCP without problems.
TL;DR: Share the exact RAM kits you purchased and their model numbers. If you combined two sets, confirm they match the correct DIMMS slots—this can aid training. For kits, each is tested for itself, so mixing them up isn’t ideal.
Patriot’s QVL lists your motherboard and compatible kits. However, using two 8GB kits isn’t the same as one 4GB kit because manufacturers update RAM components over time. Running four dual-rank sticks strains the CPU memory controller; unless your CPU has a powerful one, you might need to boost its voltage slightly for stability. You may also need to tweak ProcODT and other settings.
This depends on your board, CPU, and RAM—no universal numbers guarantee success without risk. Booting works isn’t enough for long-term reliability. If overclocking is active, run OCCT on the RAM for several days (possibly up to 12 hours) to check stability.
If you have any CPU overclock enabled, turn it off, test RAM overclock separately, then re-test CPU stability with tools like CoreCycler using ~12 hours per core.

Ryzen strongly dislikes this setup... it’s also a bit amusing since you’re attempting to use high-speed RAM on a CPU that doesn’t really gain from it. I recommend getting a 2x16 bundle at 3200 MHz, which is currently in stock and likely made by Samsung B-die.

You were spot on when you mentioned I thought I purchased two separate 2x8 kits, only to realize they didn't match. I ended up finding TridentZ Neo, 3600mhz 2x16 CL14 (F4-3600C14D-32GTZN), which operates at 3200mhz. Unfortunately, I bought the RAM on eBay brand new before reviewing the QVL list for my motherboard. Running it at 3600mhz caused the system to fail to boot. Adjusting it to 3200mhz and setting the FLCK frequency to 1600 resolved the issue completely—better than the initial configuration.
