Sure, just add an extra drive and set up Windows there. Move your files to a secure location outside the SSD, and you'll have everything organized.

I'll set up Windows on the HDD and keep this discussion open for a while. Anyone with the fix can share it here. My setup has an old Windows 10 on an SSD.

The OS was set up on the SSD immediately after connection. I tested it on the SSD for a month using the HDD connected, but made some mistakes along the way.
