The system fails to respond even after issuing sleep or shutdown commands.
I tell the system to power down or sleep occasionally and it often works fine. The screens dim but my keyboard, mouse, and monitor stay lit. When I set the machine to sleep, it freezes and I can only force a hard shutdown. Only minor adjustments changed things—I turned on the XMP profile in BIOS and installed the motherboard drivers that came with it.
Let it rest automatically, and for a complete shutdown, press the power button on the case. If this bothers you, reset the CMOS and test again. If it functions properly, consider reactivating XMP settings. The problem might also lie with the Windows setup, so try transferring your data to an external drive and reinstalling the operating system.
