Over the years I've stored my Steam library on an extra HDD. For certain titles it only installs a portion from the drive, then waits for the rest to download. Slow internet speeds make this frustrating and wasteful. A recent example: Rocket League starts at about 7GB, only installing roughly 2.2GB from the backup, while the rest comes later. Why not use the already backed-up version? And for larger games like ARK, ASSASINS UNITY, SIEGE, it's even worse. How can I fix this issue of downloading a game that's already saved?

You're experiencing problems with Steam not installing full game parts, only partial installations. You've reached out to G-Suite support but are seeking a resolution. Consider checking your Steam account settings, updating the game, or trying a different version.
