What really gets me is that it's seemingly only when idle or in a browser. Very weird.
I've been trying to follow this guide:
https://mr-kayz.github.io/RTS-Extra-Docs...4-bug.html
as I thought this was the bug I may be suffering from, and I think crashing frequency might be down but I'm not sure. The WHEA errors went away at least so I think that it fixed something?
Here is a link to my crash logs:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/3priawj2a...s.zip/file
Please help, this has been bothering me for months and I still haven't figured it out, I'm about to just replace the CPU at this point
🙁
Specs
:
GPU: RTX 3080
CPU: Ryzen 5950X
Mobo: TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI)

which bios version is currently installed?
reset bios by jumper
which psu are you using?
check ram with memtest
what ram is there?
check windows with dism commands
are there bent or discolored pins on the motherboard?
maybe the cpu cooler was tightened too hard
check hard drives for errors

The latest bios version 5021 has helped ease the problem. PSU: CORSAIR RM1000x Fully Modular ATX Power Supply - 80 PLUS Gold. Ram memtest86 completed 6 runs with no errors, but I want to try it again for longer. Two 16gb drives in slots A2 and B2. Dism commands didn’t work. Socket and pins are correct. How can I check my boot SSD for issues?

review your link about the AMD CPU issue. It seems this is your concern. I recommend using the AMD Ryzen Master driver:
https://www.amd.com/en/products/software...aster.html
Because you’re avoiding installing the specific Microsoft DLL to bypass known problems. Typically, the AMD RyzenMaster driver receives fixes before they are included in the motherboard vendor’s BIOS. Microsoft usually adds updates for Windows CPU DLLs, but those aren’t installed here.

Note 2: All bugchecks match. I suggest updating the motherboard chipset drivers and verifying that the power supply voltages meet specifications. Clear any dust from the fans and inspect for overheating.

Bugcheck began in the AMD Power Management module and then moved to a kernel address due to an incorrect instruction pointer. Updating the chipset driver could assist, as your BIOS is current and drivers should align properly.

Additional details:
- Most recent bugcheck indicates a bad instruction pointer.
- Usually, I’d check for overheated CPU or abnormal voltage readings.
- 3 core Windows files have been altered,
- Running VM software,
- Old driver for the motherboard sound card,
- Inpoutx64.sys (Fri Oct 17 16:01:16 2008) – possibly due to driver version.

Several outdated ASUS drivers from 2021 are present.

Dude, I'm pretty sure it's fixed now. I haven't crashed for a long time and was able to upgrade to win 11—previously it always caused a blue screen. I'm really glad the Ryzen master driver worked. It solved a problem I'd had for years, and I was panicking about a hardware issue. Thanks a lot!
