I just looked at my 3DMark Sky Diver 1.0 score and it came in at 17011. According to their specs, if the system score exceeds 12000 in Sky Diver, you should try Fire Strike.

From my perspective, Firestrike stands out as the most challenging AMD GPU test besides furmark. Its artifacts often outperform furmark in speed.

Let me clarify what might be causing the issue. Since you're experiencing freezing after clicking Run, it could be related to unstable software, corrupted files, or system conflicts. Check your drivers, update your operating system, and ensure no background programs are interfering.

Your GPU is currently at normal performance. Run games that make full use of the GPU for about an hour, and if they work without problems, the issue likely relates to a driver conflict with Firestrike.

Tomorrow I'm getting Witcher3. That's the sole game available for me right now. Is that sufficient? And the next question is, what kind of challenges should I expect while playing for over an hour?

Sure, I'll give it a shot. Appreciate your feedback. Others tend to leave just one comment, which makes me feel stuck with their unfinished thought. Hehe. Thanks again!

The 380 is basically a boosted version of the 280x. If you're not experiencing problems with the stock 280x, give it a bit more power. Because the 280x runs at a modest speed, overclocking can really improve performance. I own a 390x and am using the wqhl Crimson. If your games are working well, hold off on changing drivers just yet.

You're seeing a drop in FPS, but it's normal after 5 hours of gaming. A slight dip like 14 FPS is not unusual, especially with high settings. Your card should still be handling the load well if you're playing for that long.
