Navigate to the Voltage Configuration section in the OC Tweaker, and ensure it displays the voltage next to it even when using Auto mode. This behavior was demonstrated at 4:18 in the referenced video.
Thanks, I'd been to DRAM configuration but not voltage configuration. So I'm bumping DRAM voltage up by like 5%? I don't see anything labeled memory controller which is something that was also suggested, does that have a special name? If that doesn't work, is enabling XMP but reducing the speed to 3000mhz a viable option? I can't imagine there's a huge performance difference between 3000mhz and 3200mhz on my current CPU. edit: accidentially said VRAM indead of DRAM, silly me
I opened my bios and found the settings for the voltages I needed to adjust. The sequence looked like this: VCCSA Auto → 1.260 DRAM Auto (1.35) → 1.38 VCCIO Auto (1.25) → 1.28. Despite changing them, nothing changed. The computer still powers on and off at 3200Mhz with the specified settings. It seems my RAM isn’t compatible with these speeds even when a bit higher.
