Hey there, I noticed a recurring issue with my system that pops up occasionally. Sometimes it feels like the computer stops responding entirely—just not completely, but enough that a forced restart is the only way to get things back on track. For instance, one program might freeze completely while others work partially, like being able to move windows but not type or save anything. The machine becomes almost unusable until I perform a force restart. I ran a RAM health check and everything looked normal, so I’m not sure what’s causing it. At first, I considered a Bluetooth driver problem, since it often happens when using headphones, but today it occurred without that factor involved. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The system details seem to be nearing a limit on memory usage.

Do you possess three 3DIMM modules? Which brands and specifications do they have? Have you considered removing one to expand the total capacity to 16GB?

I have four units set up. This might not be important, but following the recent cooler installation, it occasionally pushes against one of the RAM modules. It’s not doing a full stop forcefully, but there’s still some resistance.

Have you considered using only two RAM sticks? The one with the cooler push might not be ideal, and a potential instability could arise from the connection. It would be safer to test with just two.

I might run the system without the smaller kit. It shouldn’t cause much impact, since I’ve used it before without any stability problems.

Before proceeding, consider what you think is optimal. Many suggest avoiding a 3-stick setup. With your specs—two 4GB 3200MHz and two 8GB 3000MHz—removing one stick would likely leave you with a solid balance of performance and capacity.

Optimal setup is maintaining both 8GB 3000MHz units. If you're skilled, you could potentially boost their speeds to align with the two 4GB models.
