You have a 750Ti and experienced issues with your monitor not showing signal after some time away. You tried several fixes including restarting, cleaning components, checking connections, and even using an HDMI to MBD setup. When you reconnected the GPU and confirmed it was secure, the PC started but the monitor still didn’t display anything. What should you do next?

It's reasonable to think that after turning on your PC, you might not notice anything. Then connect it to the motherboard port, keeping the dedicated GPU active. Open Windows and check the Device Manager for information about the 750Ti.

It doesn't display the GPU at all, despite the 750Ti cooling fans operating.

It likely failed eventually. You might want to attempt reinstalling the drivers and check the outcome.

Link your graphics card normally. Turn off the built-in GPU in BIOS. Ensure your video card isn’t dead when posting. If it appears, review Windows power settings—disable hibernate and sleep if needed.

Check if the information appears in GPU-Z. You mentioned it’s not visible in the task manager either.

It isn't listed in GPU-Z and that's what you're noticing. CMOS refers to the small battery-like component on a microcontroller that powers it when off.

It seems the device might be no longer active, which is a bit disheartening after purchasing it from a friend three months ago. I attempted to link it to another PCIx16 slot, but it still isn’t appearing in the BIOS.
