Hi everyone, I own a Supermicro A1SAM-2550F motherboard that I got when the Avoton platform launched. I was aiming for a low-power server and planned to build a NAS, but the RAM I had wasn’t compatible, so it stayed unused. Later, while clearing out an old office at work, my boss offered me the RAM I found. I’d already started with an ASUS AM3 board and decided to switch to this Supermicro now that I had the opportunity. After connecting everything, it started up but didn’t boot properly. I changed the power supply, tried removing all drives, and even plugged in one drive—still nothing. I thought maybe the RAID card was interfering, so I removed it from the boot list, but nothing happened. Disabling all boot options didn’t help either. The USB drive I used for the OS worked, but the hard drive wouldn’t boot at all. I’m not sure what’s going on and need some advice.
