I have an I7-4790K CPU that I bought in December and yesterday I installed a Corsair Hydro H75 water cooling system. I'm trying to find the right fan and pump settings to maintain a stable temperature. I want to know what adjustments work best for overclocking while keeping the temps steady. My current setup has both fans blowing air into the radiator, and at higher speeds it idles around 40-50°C. In CPU-heavy games like Arma, it reaches about 60°C. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The temperature is likely within 10-15 degrees above room temperature, which matches the usual range in England. Yesterday it cooled down to around 35 degrees, but now it's 20 degrees with the radiator running at 50. The case isn't fitting properly because the radiator is too large. I'm considering setting one fan to exhaust heat from the radiator since both fans are pushing air onto it. I might increase the fan speeds as AC won't be available soon. Ideally, I'd use both fans in the same direction to draw ambient air. When was the last time you updated the TIM?

You should avoid having the pump controlled and focus on PWR fans, which you can adjust. This also depends on your motherboard's headers.

You shouldn't control the pump directly; instead, manage PWR fans which you can adjust in BIOS.
The fans are connected via the headers on your motherboard. I've connected both to the CPU_Fan ports, enabling them to run as CPU fans in BIOS, while the pump remains linked to Sys_fan for manual control (currently at 80%).

Your idle temperatures are a bit too high, aiming for 10-15°C above room temperature and 60-65°C when under load is best.

if it's meant to be 10-15 degrees higher than room temperature that's acceptable then since most of the time since I last used this cooler it has been around 25-30 degrees in England. Yesterday once it cooled down a bit it was idling at around 35 degrees. Currently it's 20 degrees and idling at 50. I should note that the case isn't fitting properly because the radiator is now too large (it sticks out a bit). Also, should I set one fan to expel heat from the radiator as both are pushing air onto it? I'm also planning to increase my fan speeds since I won't have AC for a while.
