I assembled my computer using an NVMe drive and an HDD. Both devices are functional, yet only the NVMe appears in the storage list. It’s clear that the system displays just the 256GB, omitting the 1TB HDDs.

If the drive isn't visible in File Explorer as described, you might need to manage disks through Disk Management and format them there. Press the start button, type "Disk Management," choose "Create and format hard disk partitions." In the options, disk 0 is your SSD where Windows is installed, while disk 1 is likely your HDD unless another drive is connected. You can right-click where it says "Disk 1" and select Format. As Lloyd suggested, using NTFS as the default should work fine. Let me know if you hit a snag!

The disk requires formatting. Clicking the area beside disk 1 provides the format options.

Select a new volume size first, then you’ll be able to proceed with the steps using the standard settings. Ensure the formatting remains NTFS as discussed earlier.

Consider your next steps carefully. What action would you like to take?
