The status of Windows 10 insiders remains unclear.
Following the launch of Windows 11, many reported that Windows 10 would stop receiving insider builds. The screenshot suggests it may have received its final major update, 21H2, from Microsoft’s download page. Back then, the Sunrise update was planned for Windows 10, but it never materialized (it seems all development shifted to Windows 11). According to the uup website, the last Windows 10 insider version is 10.0.21390.2025 (co_release). It’s unclear whether Microsoft will keep offering Windows 10 insider builds or if the platform is officially ending. I appreciated seeing the insider versions, but it’s disappointing that the November 2021 release didn’t get its hands on them.
In technical terms, Windows 10 will receive Release Preview updates only via the Insider program. Updates will arrive once Windows 10 reaches a "release candidate" status through that channel, which is expected around the end of 2022. Microsoft's main priority is Windows 11, though some features from Windows 11 could appear in Windows 10 through its regular yearly updates (such as the Windows 11 rollout timeline). The version you saw in the dev or beta channel was actually Windows 11 in development.
