Hello, I recently upgraded my PC with a stronger CPU, quicker RAM, faster SSD, and a better motherboard. After installing drivers and updates, I realized my boot time was significantly longer than before. Since I already enabled the fast startup option in Windows, it might be related to the BIOS settings. It now takes about double the time to start up.

My current specs are: Asus Rog Strix B650E-F AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Asus Tuf Gaming RTX 3070 Ti, 2X16 Corsair Vengeance CL30, 6000Mhz Kingston KC3000 2TB (with 6000MB write speed), and a Samsung Pro 500GB SSD paired with a WD HDD at 1TB.

This behavior is typical for AM5. Memory training requires more time after powering up.

It works, since I can't recall the memory training settings anymore—reports suggest it might not be as reliable as training each time. Still, it seems to restart quicker after turning off.

It relates to how the memory controller behaves in Zen 4 architecture. The stability differences may stem from changes in controller design compared to AM5.

It was quite a delay the other day when I first powered on in BIOS, and now Windows is launching quickly—but it’s still not fast enough. Probably just a matter of getting used to the new system.

I notice users enabling the "Memory Context Restore" feature in BIOS. Their long-term usage and potential issues aren't clear to me. Could you share more details about what happened?

Was dein vorheriges Gerät mit 16 GB ausgestattet?

Sure, turn it off right away. You should definitely enable it so your limited RAM doesn’t have to waste time loading each time it starts—this feature is meant just for that purpose.
