The game crashed during the menu entry and displayed a warning about needing an update and sufficient memory. Your PC specs are listed here: http://www.3dmark.com/3dmv/5326199. You’re currently using 1GB of RAM while the system requires at least 2GB for proper functioning.

They don't match the required minimum standards. It might be a planned solution.

You have a super old GPU that isn't supported. There isn't a way to fix it, and I would imagine you not even being able to run it on low even if the game started. The minimum AMD video card requirement is a 7850. You have a 5850 which is two generations behind, mate.

It's actually not a demanding game at all. I got my 980ti on absolute max settings rendering with 150% DSR 1440p 60FPS locked. But there is probably a software kill switch on the game.

I know this, but the game or its engine might not handle features below certain limits due to their requirements, which means it wouldn’t even start at low settings.

It's a bit uncertain, but an MSI Nvidia GeForce 480 should function properly.

You received a 5850 and it handles the game. When you start the game without pressing Enter, use Alt + Enter to switch to fullscreen. This method helped me.

At roughly 20 frames per second I played BF4 on my older machine using a GTX 550 Ti, and everything ran smoothly at 20 fps.
