Your computer only accepts booting from Windows on your HDD. When you try the SSD, it displays a message saying it won't allow access. It seems you need to use Windows on the HDD to proceed.

Format the SSD and then install Windows on it, then try again.

You cannot simply paste files in. You must create an exact copy of the storage drive. If the HDD is using the main partition, it’s the only possible way to start up.

It's clear the HDD wasn't cloned correctly. Try another cloning tool and attempt again, or simply reinstall it on the SSD.

You want to delete the existing drives and then reinstall Windows on the SSD. Yes, that’s essentially what you’re suggesting.

Take them off the motherboard... and sure, I’m talking about a fresh setup on the SSD.

When you choose NO for a new setup, it won’t let you proceed. You can force a reset using Windows Repair CMD Prompt. Disconnect everything physically, take out the cables from the ends. Keep only the SSD (and any DVD drive if applicable) and then install Windows onto the SSD. Once finished, reinstall or reconnect your drives.

You should try reinstalling the SSD first. If that doesn't work, consider cleaning it before another attempt.
