Refer to the mainboard manual for guidance on clearing CMOS. Short the jumper for 5 to 10 seconds as instructed. Disconnect the PSU from mains while performing this step, and press the power button to discharge any capacitors in the PSU. It seems switching SATA cables didn't resolve the issue.

Changing the cables didn’t fix the issue, I just repositioned the battery and the BIOS defaulted, but the problem persisted. The BIOS says the SSD is present, yet booting takes an extremely long time—about five minutes with the MSI VGA LED always on—to reach the final MSA screenshot. (If I let it restart)

It's strange. The VGA LED usually signals a graphics problem, but it doesn't seem linked to your SSD. I'm running out of ideas right now. The only suggestion I can make is the SATA to USB adapter I mentioned to see if the SSD is functioning properly.

I’m testing it now—it’s strange. The SSD appears as a bootable device when I press F11, but it doesn’t start. Could the MBR or boot sector be damaged from the Windows 11 sleep/wake cycles?

I connected the SSD via an external USB case and attempted to use EASUS Partition Master, but it wasn’t appearing in Explorer.

You were able to display it in Disk Management, but it prompts you to initialize it using either GPT or MBR.
