Hi. I’ve faced problems with my SSDs recently. A couple of weeks ago, my SSD 870QVO stopped functioning—it wasn’t the one used for booting; it was just for storing games. It didn’t appear in Windows or Disk Manager, but after restarting the PC it worked, though I couldn’t open any files. Running a Samsung Magician diagnostic showed everything was fine. When I turned off the computer, it wouldn’t boot at all. After disconnecting the SSD, it booted normally. But if I connected another drive via USB with an adapter, Windows Explorer crashed, Disk Manager didn’t open, and CMD Disk functions failed. Even though the PC recognized the drive, I thought it was a bad SSD. I replaced it with an XPG S11 Pro 2TB and created a fresh Windows 11 installation. Still, the same issues occurred: Disk C worked without problems, but the XPG would crash—sometimes games wouldn’t install or would freeze. I erased the drive and reformatted it again, but the same problems persisted. After turning off the PC, it wouldn’t boot. Removing the SSD allowed it to start, but the M.2 slot stopped working entirely. I used an adapter, but it didn’t connect at all. On my laptop, nothing worked either. I’m unsure why the SSDs boot fine while the HDDs do, except these two are causing trouble.

I own a B450 TUF Gaming Plus II, using Windows 10 on the first drive (870 QVO) now switching to Windows 11. The 870 QVO uses SATA, while the XPG is NVMe. I've tested various cables and ports, but it won't boot if any drive is connected. With the 870 QVO it shows a black screen and with the XPG it displays the TUF logo but doesn't enter BIOS setup or anything.
