They have access to a diagnostic from their side. Many ISPs share more details about what's happening in your home than you'd like. They should notice the Wi-Fi issues and fix the router. It isn't your responsibility to solve this—it belongs to them. Bring a technician in or consider purchasing your own router instead of continuing to rent one. If you're already paying for it each month, that's why they keep doing it.

They asked me to handle the unplugging and reset process, claiming they were testing it on their end. Their goal was to have the conclusion soon so I could get a new one. They mentioned it wouldn’t be a big issue, but I was hoping there’s a fix tonight for Wifi tonight or tomorrow. I’d like to purchase a router, though I can’t afford one right now. Previously, I wasn’t paying rent for our current unit; my wife managed a program that covered the cost.

It's great to hear that. The best approach is usually to restart it or perform a factory reset. Apologies for the inconvenience.

They are separate devices, not an all-in-one unit.
