Attempting to switch to Ubuntu is causing issues with this error. Trying various USBs, slots, and other methods isn't helping, and the interface becomes unresponsive.

Are you experiencing this during the USB boot attempt or after installation? If it's during the USB boot, there might be a couple of problems. Get the Ubuntu Desktop ISO from https://etcher.balena.io and burn it to your USB drive using the provided tool—avoid Rufus as it hasn’t worked well recently. If the issue persists, check your BIOS settings; ensure UEFI is off and CSM is enabled for a BIOS boot. While Balena might help, it’s worth trying their solution first.

Hey there, thanks for your message. It looks like Balena didn't complete the task, so I ended up returning to Rufus. Now I'm confident it should work once the installation is done.
