So I play Goat Simulator on my laptop, which has these specs: an Intel i7 processor, a Nvidia graphics card, 8 gigabytes of RAM, Windows 10, and the system is set to use SSDs for the main part. The game was doing really poorly (only getting about 25 FPS). So I opened Task Manager to see what's going on there. Turns out the game wasn't even using my graphics card at all; it showed up with a usage of only 0%. To fix this, I tried a few things but nothing worked: I went through Nvidia's control panel to force the game to use their GPU, I checked Windows Display settings to make sure the display is assigned correctly, I turned on PhysX and then took it all back off, and I re-installed my graphics drivers. One really important thing to note though is that this 0% usage problem only happens with Goat Simulator; other games seem to use the GPU at least a little bit but not to zero, even if they still don't get full power and run slow—that's a different issue. So I'm guessing maybe the game itself has a bug? But if it were broken, why was it running so smoothly on my friend's laptop with an Intel i7 7th gen processor and an Nvidia 920m card (same generation as mine)? I can't really figure this out right now. Any help would be really appreciated.

Did you buy that Goat Simulator thing? Maybe it got broken with the new version. Just take it out, delete it, then go find a better one online. Make sure to set up the settings right for your computer or phone, then try playing again. Let me know if it still doesn't work!

Did you find that goat simulator? Maybe it's a mess now. Just delete it or remove it. Download it fresh from the maker's site if needed. Set things up right so everything works, then hit play once more. Be careful though!

I think putting it back together worked. Now it's using an Nvidia GPU when Task Manager says so too. But there is still a new problem that shows up in another thread. Thanks for helping out, this means a lot to me!

Luckily I never had to, it was already set up right.
