I suspect it required an update because it prompted me to allow the app to modify the system. When I clicked yes, an error message appeared and I wasn’t sure what to do. The window didn’t launch properly, and after checking several guides, one suggestion was to run the System File Checker. That attempt repaired all the damaged files, but the application still wouldn’t open. Any suggestions? Should I remove the MSI package and reinstall it?

Uninstalled and reinstalled MSI now works properly and opens correctly. I’m trying to grasp how to interpret these messages now. Regarding RTSS, I’m still figuring it out. It was supposed to download with MSI, but the “RTSS is active, process will abort” warning appeared. Even after closing everything, the same message keeps showing up.
I’m working through this step by step. I removed and reinstalled RTSS, checked Task Manager during the whole process, confirmed RTSS was running, ended the associated tasks, and it told me I could uninstall. However, some files remained because they couldn’t be removed while the computer was powered on, so a reboot was necessary. That’s how it turned out.
