It accommodates both options. However, the amount of storage relies on the device maker. The RAM they employ remains consistent these days—mostly DDR4 operating below 3000MT/s, though a transition to DDR5 could happen soon, though I’m not sure yet; this is just my guess.

I recently found inexpensive phones priced between 200-250 EUR with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, which is impressive for such a budget. This raises the question about whether having more memory helps if it isn't fast enough.
