Hopefully the title makes sense. I adjust my settings for a stable 60hz display and keep games around 120 FPS for consistency and less input delay. When capturing clips, especially in Valorant, the footage appears much smoother than my actual gameplay. Also, I’m testing on the same monitor, so I’m unsure if the screen itself is the issue. Generally, enabling vsync at 60fps makes things look smoother, but I still notice input lag. Is there a way to fix this?

The clip is recorded at a standard frame rate, likely 60fps, which helps ensure smoother playback. Processing or recording at this rate makes it appear more fluid. A higher refresh rate monitor above 120Hz would be needed for that level of smoothness.

It happens to me too when I record a session of ArmA 3; I think it's just us getting into the game without focusing on the details. It's less about watching the gunfight and more about being in one, even though we're using the same perspective.
