The Skyrim mods are pricier than the game itself.
The Skyrim mods are pricier than the game itself.
I'm mainly interested in whether these mods will be available for sale.
I’ll just share what I think:
- Simple fixes, basic features, single weapons/armors should be free.
- DLC size for mods (like Falskaar) should be large, with abundant armor and weapon sets.
- A few items should have a modest paywall (2–5 euros), but donations are welcome.
- Modders who sell simple weapons for 5 dollars might prefer working harder to earn their money.
- Of course, I could be biased since my local hourly rate is low.
- If no one donates, it could mean you haven’t seen any Twitch streams or the modder isn’t offering enough rewards (like special thanks or early access).
This modding aspect of Skyrim seems confusing to you. It's available for free on SkyrimNexus, which makes it seem like an extra feature. But since it's linked to Steam, some might think it's just another unnecessary addition.
