The RAM supports various timing options, with the board suggesting 16-18-18-36, while DOCP observed 20-20-20-43 or similar unusual values. The maker's documentation appears to have a completely different timing list. Essentially, it seems there are several factors at play: Ryzens are very particular about RAM specs, BX50 boards share this sensitivity, DOCP sometimes misinterprets timings, and certain RAM models require specific timing configurations for proper operation.
Generally this might be a bit of an issue, but Ryzens and boards tend to be quite particular when the sound settings don't match up, especially with older Corsair gear. It seems the RAM needs to run at different speeds, which suggests XMP isn't working properly. This could also relate to poor binning, as some Corsair rams actually experience problems in that case.
I tested 1500X + 1050 Ti on my brother's machine and it works reasonably well. However, I'm unsure if I'd actually need the extra power since my usage isn't very high. We'll find out soon, thanks for the tip. I already own a CM T20, so I definitely require an anti-surge device or UPS. Also, I've installed many fans to prevent the GPU from overheating.
