When attempting to sign into the Xbox App on my Windows 10 machine, a brief window appears three times before disappearing. A screenshot of this process is available here:
https://www.loom.com/share/27f7a9bd2f1f4...b3f613e128
In another scenario, opening Flight Simulator directly leads to a "Press Any Key" screen where a similar window flashes three times before returning to the same screen. A screenshot from this situation can be found here:
https://www.loom.com/share/4d881c22ca634...7d8ce9c7c3
In both instances, no login form is displayed, making any password reset or account change suggestions ineffective.

Additionally, please be aware that...
I utilize the same Microsoft Account for both Office365 and Xbox GamePass.
I can access Office365 without issues.
The same Microsoft account is linked to my username and login on my Windows 10 PC.
I am able to log in smoothly to Windows 10.
I have reviewed the following page:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...xb...b5b56f5c60
However, these approaches do not resolve the issue.

The reasons for this problem are outlined below, listed in order of consideration:
I never encounter a sign-in screen.
I verified that Time Automation is enabled.
I attempted to delete my Microsoft account and log in as a local user, then re-authenticated with my usual login—this did not resolve the issue.
Software versions:
- Xbox Version 2101.1001.5.0
- Windows 2004 (OS Build 19041.746), which updates automatically.
Others have similar issues? Would anyone at Microsoft could assist? I would greatly value further suggestions.
Thank you.

The short answer is that the Xbox Live Auth service was turned off in services.msc. I changed it to start automatically on reboot, and it functions correctly!

I'm unable to locate Xbox Live Auth since the available service is the Xbox Accessory Management Service.
