Hello online friends. I’m noticing something odd on my laptop—every time I try to power it off, restarting everything brings me back to where I left off, and the Task Manager shows the CPU running for days. I’ve checked advanced power settings, turned shutdown on when closing the lid, and even pressed the power button, but nothing helps. This issue has been going on for months. From what I understand about power efficiency, after using an active i5-6200U for over a week, some performance drops happen. Also, in games it gets really hot—often reaching 95°C or higher, yet it never cools down to its turbo speed. That sounds pretty frustrating, right?
I believe the high level of availability in Windows 10 is typical.
