I just assembled a new PC and everything turned on, but the monitor isn’t showing anything. The motherboard has a small LED in the corner pointing to a CPU issue. I’ve shared my problem on Reddit, but haven’t gotten any responses yet. I’ve reinserted the RAM and checked the CPU—there are no bent pins or faults. My system uses a Ryzen 5 7600 and a Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
What cooler are you employing? Excessive tightening, insufficient tightening, or inconsistent pressure may lead to booting issues. How much time are you anticipating before the first boot appears? DDR5 systems can be slow to respond. Have you verified the RAM placement in the designated slots? Is your monitor connection routed through the motherboard or the graphics card?
Which LED is red? The CPU. Have you given it a moment to start, even though the lights are flashing?
Your setup might seem excessive, but it looks good. Is there anything specific you're concerned about?
the illuminated part is the cpu, i've left the computer on for about ten minutes but nothing changed
Checked if other components were properly installed. Verified RAM placement and lock status.
Attempt to start using just the motherboard, CPU, RAM, and power supply. Leave out all other components and connect your monitor directly to the motherboard. The BIOS should work fine because the CPU was compatible even with the oldest BIOS included in the motherboard. Verify that the I/O shield isn’t touching any pins inside the connectors on the back of the motherboard. Occasionally, the I/O shield has tabs meant to fold inward for better contact; if bent incorrectly, they can get stuck inside the connectors and cause shorts. Good luck!
