I adjusted the picture settings to game mode, which significantly cuts down the lag, though some delay remains. Are there other options you'd like to try to further improve performance?

I resolved the lag by changing the display mode to game and showing only the TV screen, not the computer. I also selected a standard aspect ratio since the laptop is a bit taller. Thank you all for your assistance!
