Keep the factory recovery partition intact. Burning a set of factory recovery DVDs is more effective.

I can see no reason that I'd want to keep the factory install data. If I did I'd not be in this thread already. I've already deleted all partitions and I'm nearly finished installing Windows 10 Home fresh of a USB key generated by the Win 10 media creation tool.

This also makes OS reinstallation easier—just use the Media Tool from Microsoft to download Windows 10, then prepare a DVD or USB drive for a clean install. Windows will automatically recognize the product key in your UEFI without requiring any input.
