My second screen experiences a brief blackout followed by normal operation, sometimes resolving quickly when I power it off and on. Occasionally it occurs every ten minutes or an hour. It wasn’t a problem until this evening at 7 PM. My PC has been with me since January 25th, and today was the first time it happened. (File: 20240226_000330.mp4)

Are your cables properly connected?

Check if the backlight shuts down or remains active when the screen is black. Reverse the connections between the monitors and observe whether the issue shifts to the other display or continues on this one.

I'm uncertain about the setup, as the display port and HDMI connections are different, and the first monitor doesn't have HDMI. Could this be related to the cables? It seems unusual that it works for a short time but resets when turned off and on.

The screen illumination remains active, meaning it won’t fully power down. This detail may be useful.

it's likely the cable or GPU socket is the issue. switch to a different socket on the GPU and test again; if it works, replace the cable.
