A few days back a thunderstorm occurred while I was working on my PC. A lightning bolt was close enough that both monitors went dark for a short time. After pressing the graphics driver shortcut, one monitor returned to normal, but the other didn’t. I own a power surge regulator (I’m not sure what it’s called in English), and the monitors themselves aren’t dead—they even turn on. When I unplug the cable, no signal appears. The odd part is that when I turn on the monitors, BIOS and Windows charging appear, function properly until the login screen shows up, then the display goes black again. The PC lets me choose to extend or duplicate the image for both screens, but it just won’t show anything. Using duplication makes the system slow down noticeably every seven seconds. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the GPU drivers, fixed some unknown devices in Device Manager, yet the monitors still don’t receive an image, as if the PC is refusing to send one.
