I installed the radiator, but the screws were too long and ended up damaging it. I’m wondering if this will affect its performance or cause water issues, or if it’s okay to use it as is.

If the screws have penetrated the rad and water is leaking, completion is achieved. Consider running the device externally to avoid further issues.

Typically they don't, but these fins might open the rad channel. The safest approach is to test it (if you're confident about handling the ATX pin) or just turn on the system without any rad near the case. It might not leak now, but could leak when pressure is applied by the pump.

It won't remove water, so try using the right screws next time. The longer ones are meant for fans or attaching the AIO to the case trough fans.

Place it outside the case for a minimum of an hour. Put it on a paper towel with the damaged side facing down. Open windows and apply a heavy load, then proceed.
