I have a fan preset set to max fans with a steep curve, causing GPU fans to reach 100% at 45°C. I'm doing this in advance. Are there any thermal paste or pads you suggest, or will any work from Amazon that I come across?

Ugh, that doesn't seem like my problem. The comp was running smoothly for two years. But the Corsair cooler stopped working after two years, which might mean they have a poor failure rate. They have great tech support and RMA options.

I believe you're correct. I spent a long time last night playing and the room was cold, but now in a warm room I play the same thing and within 15 minutes I get a black screen and no signal. I tried updating to the old 566.36 drivers as recommended, but it didn't help. Still, I experience a black screen or system lock-up after about 15 minutes. It doesn't seem like a driver problem. It appears to be an overheating issue, especially with the 108C hot spikes during today's warm room FurMark test. I'm expecting new thermal pads and an HDMI cable to arrive on Tuesday, along with fresh thermal paste. Could this also indicate that my GPU is failing or just the thermal paste is wearing out?

I have some impressive outcomes. After cleaning and applying fresh thermal paste, my new FurMark numbers are 68-70c with hot spots under 86. That's a significant improvement. I plan to test it in the game next.

For a more lasting thermal paste solution and to prevent future pump-out issues, consider ptm7950 phase change material or a graphite/graphene pad. Thermal grizzly offers the Kryosheet, a graphene pad that delivers superior thermal performance versus graphite or traditional paste, though ptm7950 outperforms them all.

This content should provide the top performance among all options? I can run it through the GPUs processor and then use standard thermal pads everywhere.
Get the best link and I'll purchase it.
