I have updated the BIOS step by step, as suggested. Initially I moved from version 1.30 to 1.80, then 1.80 to 3.10, and finally 3.10 to 4.10. The last update caused screen flickering, which seems to happen five times before reaching the new BIOS. A YouTube video showed similar issues with AsRock models and BIOs. I restarted the PC multiple times but always got the same flickering pattern—five flashes before stabilizing. Accessing UEFI also triggers the same issue, though it works without problems afterward. The system appears stable overall, just with occasional visual glitches. I’m unsure if rolling back would be wise since 4.10 wasn’t recommended for my Ryzen 2600 Pinnacle, but the video and user experiences suggest caution. If reverting to an earlier version is safe and straightforward, it might be a reasonable choice.
If it doesn’t really cause issues, I wouldn’t suggest updating to a different version. My guidance would be the same if you’d asked earlier whether you should upgrade your BIOS. Modifying the BIOS is essentially just fixing what’s already working well—so a stable, compatible one is ideal.
