I’ve struggled with this issue for over a year, but I thought adjusting some parts would fix it. After upgrading my PSU and GPU, nothing changed. Now I’m frustrated because certain games behave strangely. In some titles, my monitor flickers—appearing black and then showing again in under a second. This leads to the game freezing, entering an odd state where it runs but with lower frame rates or crashing completely. It’s made it hard to play specific games I’ve mentioned: Zenless zone zero, Monster Hunter Rise, Rocket League.

My system specs are:
-AM4 B550 AORUS ELITE V2
-AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti
-4x hyperX Fury 8 GB RAM (at 3000, likely higher)
-650W power supply
-1 TB HDD (7200 RPM)
-2x NVMe SSDs: one 250GB mostly used for Windows, another 500GB)
-2 displays: a 144Hz LG monitor via DP, plus an older 60Hz LG TV as a second screen

I’ve tested various settings—fullscreen, windowed, disconnected monitors, disabled FreeSync, updated drivers, adjusted graphics, changed BIOS, moved the problematic game to another drive. Still no resolution.

This problem is rare compared to other games I’ve played, but it’s getting worse as I try new titles. Anyone know what might be causing this?
