Hey! I'm struggling to get this right. My monitor keeps flickering in the lower part of the screen, but it disappears when I switch to a lighter background. It runs smoothly at 120Hz if I change the refresh rate. I'm using an AOC AOC 27G2 and have one other monitor, a 6700XT and a Ryzen 7 5700X. The file I'm trying is PXL_20230423_151155507_Trim.mp4.

@Tomberry mentioned it's usually the cable issue. Consider another one that meets the 144hz requirement.

I used the HDMI cable that came with the PS4, but the problem persists. The previous cable functioned properly.

I've been using this monitor for a few months, and 144Hz has been stable. All refresh rates are functioning properly, but when I set the refresh to 144, my screen starts tearing with dark content.

It seems the issue could be with the display controller, the GPU, or a connection cable.

I needed to refresh the firmware on my display following a Windows/driver update.
