I just got a new Windows install and now when I start up, a white line shows up in the top left after the logo animation. It flashes for about five seconds before displaying the Windows logo again. Everything seems to be working, but I want my PC to boot up even quicker, haha!
Set up Windows on a 5400 RPM hard drive, and you'll never mind the initial five seconds of boot time
It should remain in the original UEFI setup, avoid showing the cursor, and run more smoothly—but you’ll have to either reinstall Windows or alter the current installation process.
