I assembled my PC some time ago and am still trying to pinpoint the start of the problem. While gaming, my screen would briefly turn off for a second or two before returning to normal. I have three monitors, but only the one showing the game would go dark occasionally—never every game. I haven’t experienced issues in BG3 or Cyberpunk, but Ultimate Chicken Horse kept it black constantly. I ran a full graphics driver reinstall with DDU, but the problem remains. I switched two different display cables and ports on the graphics card without success. The issue seems to appear when nothing is active on the side monitors, though I’m not sure if that matters. Both cables I used were from monitor suppliers, not new ones, and I kept the monitor at 144Hz throughout.
